Continue centralized staffing initiatives for full implementation by FY27.

See milestones. Initial centralized staffing model has been completed. Two centralized coordinator positions are now active: Reference Services Coordinator and Circulation Services Coordinator. The Programming Services Coordinator position is approved in the FY26 Budget, and the Youth Services Coordinator position will be requested in the FY27 Budget.

The current structure of regular budget meetings and collaborative reviews will be maintained, as it provides an efficient and transparent process for monitoring expenditures, identifying funding opportunities, and ensuring resources are used effectively to support departmental priorities.

The initiative to optimize budgets and diversify funding sources has been effectively implemented through consistent biweekly and quarterly meetings that ensure funds are allocated strategically across all facilities and assets.

Building on the success of FY25, the department should continue to expand its pursuit of diverse funding sources by identifying multi-year grant opportunities, cultivating long-term corporate sponsorships, and formalizing a strategic fundraising plan with the Parks Foundation.

The initiative to explore a variety of funding sources to increase financial support was successfully implemented during FY25.
