ED Staff can review farm operations in the County and connect with them for business retention visits. Intergovernmental Affairs Staff can explore successful programs or agriculture/agritourism operations in neighboring counties to see what could operate locally. 

ED Staff has connected with the UF/IFAS Extension Office for St. Johns County. Resources and programs from that office are currently supporting local farms and agriculture efforts and appear to be growing year-over-year. Staff has not identified additional resources or incentives for agriculture businesses at this time.
