This task is being pursued by multiple continuous approaches. OIA efforts are focused on legislative action and the pursuit of appropriations as directed. This multi-Department approach consists of:

• Identifying priority conservation land
• Engaging landowners
• Partnering with Land Trust and Conservation Organizations
• Secure funding
