Continue to maintain collaborative efforts between Federal, state, local and private partners to influence policy and sustain funding to drive this initiative.  

OIA consistently search for grant and funding opportunities to meet this objective. OIA will be exploring the possibility of establishing a position to provide complete oversight of this project and maintain a unified county approach. 

Continue looking for opportunities to utilize future mitigation funding. 

Mitigation projects are in place and the Local Mitigation Working Group continues to encourage partners to utilize mitigation funding when it is available and to continue looking for opportunities for future funding.
